The way you wrote Mikami Teru added another dimension to him that makes me wonder why such a tragic and kind-hearted man never got the love he deserved. While reading your prose, all I could think about is that. The imagery you used is excellent and I like the voice.

Okay, this was absolutely disturbing (in an awesome way) and even nauseating (again, in a good way! ...Or as good as being nauseated can ever be. XD). Your imagery was just so powerful, I felt like I was drowning in it, and like Teru had invited me for a ride on his descent into madness! I love your use of the brackets, they really help structure the whole story and add a somewhat surreal/crazed feeling to it. The imaginative force of the adjectives and adverbs was stunning, in a rather literal sense; like I said, I really felt like I was in the cell with him (or in his head with him, more like. 'TIS A SCARY PLACE~). Naomi seems like an axis of sorts, the 'eye of the hurricane' so to speak; like she's the only thing keeping Teru's thoughts at least relatively focused/sane.

I'm... afraid I can't give you an intelligent review right now (I had my last exam today & I still feel like someone sucked out my brain through my ear or something XD Also, my mom has discovered the joys of Youtube and keeps blasting postmodern classical music
