As far as prop 2 goes, it is only suppose to remove the factor of ethniciity. The goal being to move towards a more "color blind" society. If minorities are not as qualified, then people who value equality ought focus efforts on the roots of the problem as opposed to what many see as a "reverse racism."

try driving through East GR in blackface with a dread wig sometime, see what happens. and as for the bitch that spearheaded the proposal, her grades were not as good as the non-whites that got in. if you go apply for a pizza job and a black boy your age applies for a pizza job and all things are equal, who do you think will get the job?

Why is she a bitch? That is an ad hominen. Her grades aren't the issue. The issue is should gender and ethnicity be an factor when admitting someone to college or hiring them for a job. The answer is no.

The reason we had Affirmative Action was to prevent people from discriminating against minorities. But since it has been enacted, little has been done about the vast gap between primarily white suburbs and primarily minority populated urban areas at a fundamental level. Inner city school are hardly schools at all. Check out these statistics:
