Anyway, this month's theme at hp_unfaithful is "A close friend of the family". So I started thinking who could be cheating with whom? Ginny...cheating with a close friend of the family? Neville. Then I'm all like no Neville belongs w/ Charlie. Do I do Neville cheating on Hannah with Charlie again? Then I was like Harry cheating w/

If Character A and Character B are thinking about getting a divorce, and after that conversation, Character A sleeps with Character C, is that considered cheating?

Depends on your own moral code and if you consider yourself still "together" or not. IMO it's still cheating (until the divorce papers are signed). So it could work in fic. Especially if one sees it like cheating and the other not because they're already divorced emotionally.

Now you've got me thinking of the most heartbreaking pairings to struggle with infidelity. My conclusions are:

Molly/Arthur
Ron/Hermione
Neville/Charlie
Ginny/Luna

*sob*

I'd totally go with Lucius/Narcissa, with Narcissa cheating on Lucius with Severus. But then, that's het so maybe Lucius/Severus...

I love Ron/Hermione a lot, but i ~ have~ written a fair few infidelity fics with them. Only one of which I felt dirty/wrong about. ;)

Aw. Ron/Hermione are so snappy w/ each other it reminds me of my relationship. Maybe that's why I can't do infid. for them.
