At least it's positive. The person enjoyed it enough to want more.

I've been that person. Ha ha! I usually go for something like, "This was wonderful! I'd love to read more of it!"

Don't hate me.

:D

HAHA... saying at least "that was wonderful..." or something like that...

It's just frustrating when you pour your heart out and that's all you get... "hey can you write a sequel?"

:) and of course this is all a joke too

It totally speaks to me. :)
There is nothing more frustrating than writing 20K of a fic it took you ages to write and the ONLY response is "pls write seq". <-- and just like that, too. :/

oh gods yes.

I got one today for one of my anon fest fics and I was like... SERIOUSLY. THAT'S what you got from that?

"Please write a sequel?"

So i went trolling the internet for a good meme and then I just made one.

Ahhhh, this kills me.

"Sequel please?"

Oh, yeah. I'll just crack out another 30k or so of this. No big deal. It's not as if the damn thing didn't take me months to pull together!

(Though I agree with previous comments, it's better than something along the lines of "This was weird." or "Why didn't you do XYZ?".)

I have been those ppl that wouldn't mind a sequel but I always write something more than just "sql pls?"

I usually say (if the story's been great): wow, that was great... i really liked this... and that... and would you consider continuing this ... with.... xxx?

I think that shows that the reader actually gave a crap or whatever... i just ... after like 10k / 20k / 30k/ ...

no,

no one wants to read: "sequel please?" ...

you know...

ps.. i might be drunk what else is new

Mate, go to bed! I'm starting to think you're a vampire! XD

But yes, it's fine if they give some indication that they've actually read what's already there.

Ugh I hate that. Luckily I've never had in on a fest/meme, but I do when I post to ff. I also hate when you put a chapter up and all they ask is for more without properly reviewing the chapter you've just posted.
