Draco scowled at Potter's answer and turned his back to him to walk away. He was not in the mood to be insulted nor to argue with Potter.
"What...where are you going?" Potter asked, calling after him. "Draco..."
"I've got work to do," Draco answered but didn't turn. He really hated how insecure he would get around Potter, even if he was sure that it was really a joke.
It had to be, right?
Potter admitted to liking Draco for a long time and had said that he was glad that Draco had interrupted his date.
Still, Draco kept walking.
