Well, of COURSE you don't think it matters if actors are dubbed, Marni -- you made a career out of dubbing them!

*facepalm*

I have all the respect in the world for her talent, but honestly, why ask her a question like that? What else is she going to say?

Yeah! Not a big shock.

While it is true that I would have cast this movie differently. I 100% support the way people like Anne Hathaway and Eddie Redmayne sung their parts. A "pretty" version would never have been believable no matter what Marni (who was never actually IN a movie musical until her bit part in The Sound of Music) says.

In related news, I've been reading C.S. Lewis' The Abolition of Man as a remedy for many of the haters; though not of the Marnie Nixon variety. I especially love this (my rewrites are in brackets).
