Baz Bamigboye of The Daily Mail says the movie version of Les Misérables has "finally officially signed Helena Bonham Carter as Madame Thenardier." (scroll to near the end of the story)

(Yeah, I know, snowball's chance, Fenton would have to get paid a lot more, but the song is so much better in general and I think would fit better with the realism of film. Plus it means you can cut the first instance and save a minute of time without leaving the reprise just hanging there like the tour is currently doing.)
