Hackney Half Marathon

Firstly can I say, what a great race! I highly recommend it to anyone who fancies a half marathon, beginners/slowcoaches and Paula Radcliffes alike. It is a fast, interesting course with no nasty bits and plenty of room. The Race for Life one sounds good, I would have probably done that if I hadn't got a place for Royal Parks. I bet there will be a lot of even slower people there so you'll feel like a superfast runner!

You are actually inspiring me to take up running again Suzi. I wish I didn't have plans on Sunday and could have stayed to see you run past my building! :-)

I'm going for a run tonight. If you ever want a training companion let me know! I'm also slow.

You're probably still faster than me - men are naturally faster anyway! Have you got a bike? I might be able to keep up with you on a bike ride ;)

I do have a bike now! (Never used it though... it was donated to us.) To be honest, I'd have to do a slow one as well. Just went for a run this afternoon and nearly died! I'm soooo out of shape. I need to join you in these trainings ASAP! :-)
