It’s been a very long week…

Hi guys,

First off, I'm sorry it's been so long since I could give you an update. The last weeks of my radiation treatments really kicked my butt. Besides the fatigue, which I'm still dealing with, I ended up with two areas that looked like 2nd degree burns on the underside of my left breast. Getting those healed without infection wasn't fun but ( Read more... )

I'm so sorry to hear about Lee, I will keep him in my prayers that he will experience a rapid turnaround and improvement and will get past this. Glad you are done with radiation, my friend Dale had some burns from hers as well She had a mastectomy last December and they removed lymph nodes as well under that arm so now she always has to wear a compression sleeve for lymphodema in that arm and hand. But she just turned 60 this month and is doing well, thank God. Blessings to you and Lee both and will be thinking of you both.

Thank you so much, sweetie. I was lucky, they only had to remove one lymph node from me so I haven’t had any problems from that.

Thank you for the good thoughts for Lee, I know that they help.💕

I'm keeping you both in my heart and prayers. I really hope that since he was vaccinated it will help him pull through quickly. I'm so sorry you're going through this. *Gentle hugs*

Thanks, sweetie. They’ve got him on in antibiotics and Albuterol breathing treatments to help break up the congestion. Hopefully he’ll respond well to them. 💕

*hugs back*

*healing energies for you both*

I'm so sorry he's so ill - it is the worst, to know everything and still not be able to *do* anything.
*hugs more*

Thanks, sweetie. The most important thing for me to do is be Lee’s advocate. Today that entailed both of us reminding the unit doc that he wasn’t just dealing with COVID, that he has a bacterial infection as well. Which the we doc pinpointed yesterday but she’d somehow missed.

After that she took a careful look at his chart and got his IV antibiotics and his albuterol breathing treatments started.
