translated snippets and how Yasu's not a girl.

Jul 20, 2010 20:10

I just wanted to point out a few magazine snippets that I thought were interesting, but I didn't know if they're available in English. So I kind of translated them myself? With rants in the middle that might scare people.

2010 April AneCan: Maru teaches everyone how to lure out Subaru. )

thanks for the translations! I also agree with you about Yasu, I think he is just more open with himself (as most of the Kanjani8 are) and willing to break boundaries. I also have refused to read any fanfic about any real person I find it too weird and actually disrespectful, but that is my opinion.

I actually really like fanfics, mostly because I love reading and in my mind, the 'Kanjani8' we see don't feel like 'real people'. I don't really know how to describe it, but I know they're real people, and they're at least like 60% what they're like in private, but for the most part what we see is the shell they're selling. So the ''characters'' I see and use in fanfics aren't 'real' people, they're the idols Johnny's agency sells. Am I making sense? xD

Thanks for agreeing about Yasu! I still don't get why some people seem to genuinely think he's girly. Not only is that sexist, it's also pretty not true. *sigh* Oh well.

no worries your made sense haha. i completely understand why people like fanfics it's a great way to let someones imagination expand (which I think so many people loose and it's a shame) Like I said before it's just hard for me to read about real people; I can't disconnect my self and see them as a character in a story. Oh well not everything is ment for everyone! But I am gald you have an art that you love doing; fanfiction or not writing is writing and it's not easy to do!

I also don't get why some people have to put lables on others such as girly or gay ETC when they only know the public person and their private side. Alas it's nice to know there are those out there like me to see people for what they give and not try to judge them on petty things like piece of clothing.
