It all started when my brother got married and I came out here for the wedding. I expected to be here 2 days, and brought clothes and personal ( Read more... )

She says hi to you and to give you a big hug. Also that she's really impressed with how you've grown up. :)

Hey, congrats. This sounds very romantic. I love hearing stories from Albuquerque, I've still got friends there. I had an on-off thing with a guy from Albuquerque for about 7 years. We are still good friends.

Sorry to hear about all the drama.

It sounds like a movie plot to me. She and I had a good laugh at that... We used to collect movies. We spent a couple hours trying to figure things out in movie terms. Good times. :)

And well stated. This reminds of a piece from Kahlil Gibran's "The Prophet":

"Your Joy is your sorrow unmasked.... The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you contain.... When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy."

You have managed to turn one of your greatest sorrows into one of your greatest joys. Even more amazingly, you have the conviction to tell the story. Thanks, this existence is somehow a little more balanced than it was yesterday...

I remember that part actually. So utterly true.

Comparing my life story to it isn't something I would have done, but I appreciate it. Having the conviction took 4 months... And a visit out to New Mexico to ensure that all was as ok. :)
