If I recall, only bee stingers have barbs. Wasps and yellowjackets have smooth stingers so they can sting multiple times.

Actually, you're right. Only honeybee stingers are barbed. Well, Yellowjackets are also barbed, but the barbs are really really small.

I like #1 and #2!! (A LOT)
