Since last Tuesday saw my city trying to avoid drowning (including a good 4-6" of water in my own basement) the CSA was rescheduled to Thursday. ( Some veggies survived the floods... )
Okayz! so to start...yumm..and yummm... and oh yeah yumm...
tomatoes peeling especially if you are gonna cook them down. Cut them in half and lay skin side up in a pan with olive oil. Make sure it coats the flesh so it doesn't stick. stick it in the oven and the skin naturally starts to cook and peel away from the flesh. I use tongs to quickly pop the skins off and have some delicious tomatoes to work with.
As for that Kentucky rose cheese, let me know what you think. I have some picky family members that hate blue and some that love it(me!). And the chiliquiles sounds wonderful!!
