If so, I love that shit (assuming it's a decent translation to English, which is rare). Best post-Gilgamesh buddy comedy, easily. Poor Gretchen >=)

I'm on Mann's Faustus. I need to go back to reread Goethe's Faust since it's pretty much the best existentialist work written, even though it predated existentialism by about 150 years, as well as what just might be the best literature that western civ has ever produced.
