why yes indeed i am, good eye. actually most of these scraps are from a previous course where we were dealing with triangle meshes. now i'm on into the fabulous world of ray tracing. have you ever done any of that? i could definitely use some extra notes if you got em since we don't have a textbook or handouts and the guy only scribbles about 1/4 of the things he says onto the board. and he loves to brush over all the stuff i don't really understand because, as he likes to say "...well the rest of that is just math, so i won't bother with it."

oh, I'd help you if I could... but it sounds like my graphics experience was similar to yours. The teacher was pretty bad and the textbook we did use didn't give any details, just definitions.
I do remember studying about ray tracing by typing it into google and looking for diagrams that way. I found a few pretty helpful things.
