I totally agree with it this time.
Really, I can freak out about people telling me Daisuke is courageous. Yeah, right. You can only be courageous if you are aware of the danger, which Daisuke obviously isn't most of the time.

I don't really get how "reckless", "stupid", and "heroic" are all mutually exclusive.

I think true courage belies you are aware of what the danger is, which Diasuke was not. Then again, you do make a good point. Really what I'm dismissing is the fact that people want to say his actions contribute something postive to his character development.
