I'd say call just in case. Best case scenario: It's a minor quirk of the computer that Dell can explain to you. Worst case scenario: You need to cash in that warranty. So it's a good idea in either case.

Yes on calling Dell. Although my computer's mousepad sucks, but mine's a $250 Acer Netbook with a shitty placement of left and right buttons.
