So because I felt sick Saturday night, it rolled into Sunday and Sunday became mostly a blob of "what is going on" in which I didn't feel fully alive until close to midnight.

-Okay, so we've got this guy, Ted, and he REALLY WANTS TO GET MARRIED, but he has no luck. His best friend, Marshall, is totally the biggest crime boss in town, but he uses his influence to try and save the environment, which is weird, but hey, the park never has any litter! Marshall proposes to his girlfriend Lily who finds Marshall's crime thing extremely sexy and Ted's all "FUCK I WANNA GET MARRIED!"

So like, he meets this girl that night, Robin, and with his friends' help tries to woo her because holy shit he thinks she's the one, and Marshall uses his influence to get the criminals of New York to help. And by that, I mean they pop up at random times and do a full musical number every now and then. This will continue throughout the whole series. And like-- Robin's flattered and all, but when Ted says "I love you" on the first date um, yeah.

And things mostly proceed as normal with everyone being friends and there's hijinx and Marshall's criminals totally keep doing musical numbers and Barney with his job ("Heh, please") keeps

OKAY. So this BASICALLY takes place in RPverse, but. I LIKE OUR RP BETTER OKAY.

So we've got this new Dung Beetle, Takato, but there's something off about him; he can't figure out how to access the rest of his memories. Or ANY memories, really! He's naive and basically new to the world with only ~*~vague instincts~*~ and ~*~recollections~*~ of when he lived. He's the Dung Beetle for this robot, Guil, but he TOTALLY does not think of it as a robot, he thinks of it as a friend.

FOR SOME REASON, other Dung Beetles are hanging around the Earth he's assigned to, a ton of them!! It's REALLY weird, because he catches glimpses of a redhead girl who's antisocial and a blue-haired boy who's rather friendly, both of them Dung Beetles. Takato KNOWS what his job is, but he doesn't really want to do it; he can't help but want to befriend the people of this Earth instead. He visits a local middle school, talks to kids there, making friends with three kids: Kazu, Kenta, and Jeri.

Among all of this, he finds it feels like he can almost communicate

However, Takato messes up one day and Guil appears before the city. A government agency, panicking, starts attacking, and the world itself starts glitching again, like a computer program. In the chaos, Jeri is killed-- but she returns as a Dung Beetle as well. This too happens with Kazu later, and the group also meets a male Dung Beetle named Ryo who had discovered the truth of this Earth long ago, thinking he was the only one
