MAJOR LIFE UPHEAVAL

Well, I have made a big decision to go back to work. For the past two years I’ve been at home, looking after my little boy who will be four in November. He has just started school, trying to come to grips with Junior Kindergarten, and making very good progress.

Oh yeah, you said it, girl! RL is completely consuming at times!

And I agree with you...I LOVE visiting LJ!

Don't worry. I'll still write short things. And your birthday story still has some more chapters to go for Friday postings!

*thanks* *hugs back*

Ah, RL, RL... That hussy who shamelessly steals us away from LJ and into the world... *le sigh* Good luck with everything that's going on!

And I am *so* joining reading_lesmiz. I've wanted to read it for the longest time!

Aw...thanks! And yay! I managed to pick up another Les Miz reader! It is a fabulous book. One that manages to get you absorbed right from the first few words!

I just about panicked when I saw your comment in my LJ today about writing fanfic no more. Then I calmed myself to consider what you'd actually said. I almost dashed off a worried email but decided to wait till I got home and could check LJ. And I did...and here is my answer ( ... )

After I wrote that post, I thought: "Oh, no! I've made it sound too final!" After all, I hope to still write the odd short fic, but I really want to finish my WIPs, especially the original story from last year. I've been thinking about it and I want to get back to it. And you know how it is. When your RL gets kind of heavy, you have to cut back somewhere. I know things will settle down soon.

No, no, no. Don't worry. Things such as reading groups, RPGs, etc., really don't take that much time or effort. I'd still like to be involved in these things. If I felt it ever became too much, I'd let you know for sure. And my Spanish course is finished at the end of November. It's only the first semester of five, but I don't think the next one would start until at least spring.

It's just because I don't have internet access at work that I'll have to use my online time wisely. But with Wednesdays off (and Sunday), I should be able to catch up. (Sean doesn't go to school on Wednesdays either.)

Muchas graçias!

*huggles*
