So I just got home from giving 103 students a test... most of them didn't come to their small section the last couple of weeks, so we didn't have enough desks to go around. I actually had one kid sitting at the piano filling out his bubble sheet. I guess that's what you get for being ten minutes late to an exam. Sheesh ( Read more... )

Excellent post. Can definitely feel you on the sort of music you want to create. It would be great to write sad bastard music all the time, but why stick yourself with one style and not venture into writing a happy song if you are happy? Every day should be a holiday. ;)

ps- i just brought that wilco disc out of it's dusty case and put it in my car to listen to this morning, what a coincidence! it's one of my faves.

I need to be creative and not depressing...and BTW Wilco is great, i'm glad i got the opportunity to see them live when i was in HS.
