Here via fahye's post!

Wow. So haunting. The song, as a previous poster said, is so very very fitting for the sense of longing between these two. I especially love how the vid equitably parcels out the angst - making it clear that it's not just one person who yearns for the other, or feels that they've somehow let the other down. They've caused each other pain. But, you've also captured the playfulness and true regard between our pilots. Just... lovely!!

Thank you for the wonderful comment!
I'm glad their regard and respect for each other came through for you, because while there's a lot of angst in there, I was desperate for it to be a journey of hope as well. Like you say, the song helps a great deal there; its edgy and harmonious duality really screamed K/L to me. Ah, Pilots..
Thanks again!

Thank you for such wonderful feedback!! Wow, I'm beyond happy that you noticed some of those details. :)

As for Kara/Lee/Destiny, ohhhh I'm a sucker for that particular OT3 myself; after Maelstrom, in spite of (and probably also *because* of) the pain, I got such a strong sense of Kara's wider destiny including Lee as well (not that I haven't always, but it was so very powerful there). I'm glad that the 'hope' aspect worked, and yes, that last line of text was partly due to how emotional I got while vidding this. So I perfectly understand the initial hesitancy to watch post-Maelstrom vids! I think making this was post-episode therapy for me. ;)
Thanks again!

Same! And it made me, as a Lee (as well as Kara) fan so immensely happy. I can definitely understand the vid being therapy for you! I had a huge drive to do a post-Maelstrom vid myself, but I tried and it was a) tough and b) so emotional! Maybe I'll be able to get there eventually though, because there is so much to explore with the mythology and possibilities leading in to Season 3. Meanwhile, I'd been planning to write a Kara/Lee/Destiny essay, and your vid will provide me with the perfect inspiration. :-)

Yep, the possibilities are intriguingly endless, and the great thing for vidding is that there's so much visual symbolism as well as story-based. Ooh, I look forward to your essay!! :D

Oh, just WOW. OH! I wish I had stumbled across this vid sooner!

I loved it all, but esp. what you did with combining the Eye/Mandala images of the wax, the pictures, the photo, the actual cloud vortex...fantastic.

And what a marvelous choice of an ending: the last time Kara came back from the edge of the world, beyond everyone's expectations. Just perfect.

I am just in awe of you and this vid! Thank you!

Thank you so much! Yes I had to end on hope, because, no matter what happens, they keep on finding each other again. :) I'm glad you enjoyed the vid!
