working in a club that i'm not used to. Dad understandably won't let me use his car to drive to work, and seeing as how mine is out of commission, I have to work up in Flint - the clubs are 5-10 minutes away from my house

honestly? i went in last night with my normal makeup, straightened my hair, put on a pretty skanky bikini, and just walked out like that and rocked it.

i'm gonna be who i am, regardless. Although, I am enjoying not having to spend lots of time doing my hair... I'm just more casual and 'stripper'-ish, and it makes me a lot more approachable.

tonight was MUCH better than before, but thank you for the positive thoughts.

Like I told you yesterday, they're probably jealous. And also, I think that in most work environments, regardless of the job, people kind of "size up" the new person, especially when it's work that's as competitive as you're in. I think if you start going there regularly and you just show up and smile and do your thing, they'll eventually stop being so bitchy.

and Victoria's Secret is too fancy?! What is it supposed to be, then?

I really think you'll stop feeling like an outcast soon. It takes time for things like that. The customers could also have just been unsure about you since you're a new girl, rather than put off by the other girls' attitudes like you were thinking. I think you just need to give it time and hopefully it will start to work out!

well, let's see. I toned down the makeup (3 eyeshadows instead of six, and lipsmackers gloss instead of mac lipstick), then straightened my hair, sorta fingercombed it, and went on the floor.

I also wore a kinda skanky outfit that my ass was valiantly trying to eat.

Added a few songs to the playlist, including Freebird.

Hey, it all worked though. Did alright tonight.
