i really like it! especially the eye. and not finishing the face is something i probably prefer, haha. reminds me of my photos. :P

it strikes me. holds me. leads me in a dialogue with the pic.
there is no problem not to be able to draw whole faces, when you can come out with something like this! this would be to much in a whole pic full with these emotions load.
is it a self-portrait?

And no, not a self-portrait. Just a drawing based off of a photo of some one else. More inspired by -- not an exact likeness.

Hmm....I like it. You're very talented. Is it a portrait of a particulr person or is it a face you're pulling from your imagination? If the latter, maybe you just aren't finished seeing the face....

OMG this is beautiful. I can understand your reluctance to pen it because the pencil is amazing.
