OMFG Someone please make this people really, get a grip!

Except he has been, as much as anyone could ask for, a loyal friend. Maybe it's a good idea to wait until he's truly become disloyal before disliking the character for it. ^^EXCUSE ME ( Read more... )

As for Ron being a loyal friend already....uh, sure. I can see that in about the first novel, maybe the second. But, the third, the fourth and the fifth definately has him betraying Harry already. At the very least, he shows he's not a "through thick and thin" kind of friend to Harry during the GoF fight.
As for Hermione, well, I wouldn't call him a loyal friend to her ever. Since book one he's done nothing but put her down.
With friends like that, who needs enemies?

Yup, that made me want to punch something. Even when presented with good examples of their stupidity people justify Ron being so holier than thou and deserving of Hermione. Ugh.

see what i mean some are so stupid on there it's funny. She also wanted peoples opinion on whether Ron is a major character or not but if you read them all you see...THEY ALL THINK HE IS. It was very very one sided. I feel sorry for her BF who looks to be a closet Ron hater, too bad he hasnt found a true sanctuary for his Ron Hate like we did. wait till you read "He might die in book 7 but he will die heroically." I was like yeah right (looked at Ranma) Oh he'll die if we have anything to say about it and it wont be heroically. *hums riverdance*

Although, probably, in the OBHWF, Ron can!

oh, and friggin' stupidity! The one who said that Hermione would be with Ron until he dies, and then go "Harry I love you too!"
