No, I mean as far as online stuff goes, namely blogs. I know it's news all over the world but I have people I know in other cities in Australia blogging about some new dress they bought without any mention of the shit going down with these floods. I'm not asking for them to write big angry posts like me, a casual mention would be nice. But like I said, I am probably being over sensitive as it's directly affecting my and my friends/family.
That's great. Thanks heaps. I actually haven't been on Tumblr much lately so maybe there is more online stuff floating around that I wasn't aware of :)
Well, I don't know about blogs, but here in Italy we've had reports about the flood every day in every news programmes on every national channel pretty much since the start. I didn't mention anything because I knew from your posts you were all right, and the only other person I know who lives in Australia is all right too.
I'm glad the worst is over and that there are a lot of volunteers, hopefully things will get back to normal soon.
I've seen a total of 1 news report about it here in LA and they only mentioned Toowoomba and said there where over 20 deaths (i guess 8 wasn't shocking enough for them)

I have to admit I have been a bit disappointed in how little attention this has been given from people in other parts of Australia and the world.
Uhm, what? It's on the news here all the time. By the same token, a lot of German cities are flooded at the moment too.
