So I’m a city girl, right? Ever heard the story of the lady in a British Airways flight who got looked at by a mini turtle out of her salad?

Well, what you do to get rid of bugs and the like, is putting the vegetable into a bowl of water, so the creepy animals drown and float up.
Cauliflower is basically the same only that you heat the water.

On Saturday night, Mum was like "just chuck the lettuce into the boiling water. Don't need to check it for bugs". You'd think the boiling water would kill the things, right? But then when I was eating it, this caterpillar drops out. *shudder*

Did the lady sue British Airways? Or get all the other passengers to check their food? How could a turtle have survived?!
