Customizing: David Tennant figure in white Navy uniform from "Much Ado about Nothing"

Feb 04, 2012 21:35

Remember the David Tennant as Hamlet figure I did a year ago? I have done another one.
Here he is in his white Navy uniform from the theatre play "Much Ado about Nothing", I saw this live in London.

Wow, this looks fantastic! (Really muscular arms... *gg*) And the golf buggy to go with it - brilliant!

Thank you! Wondering myself whether to tackle the arms again - they really look huge at the pictures.
Too bad I couldn't afford the right sized golf buggy - that would be fun! Maybe I should set up a donation page ;)

Thank you very much! *blushes*

Did you see this theatre play? Or did you download it from Digital Theatre? Hopefully we also will get a DVD yet. It was really very funny.

I didn't see this theatre play. I'm sure I will buy DVD even though I would download it from Digital Theatre. If I have to wait very long, I might buy a download version anyway.
By the way, when did you have this photo with David Tennant? Cool.

They had the DVD at Amazon for pre-order in November but everyone that ordered it got an e-mail that they had to delete it. So we hope it will come back some day, but nobody knows when. If you ever want to buy the download, just ask me and I can give you the right link and tell you how to do it (you also need to install a special player on your computer, the download only works on that player).

I was in London in June, we saw it live in the theatre, and on the second day we also stood at the stage door. Afterwards David and Catherine came out and gave autographs and that's where the picture happened. I wrote an entry with many pictures here:

Not sure if I also showed you the pictures where the Doctor showed me around London? http://dieastra.livejournal.com/30001.html

Oh my gosh, Astra, you are so creative. You should design those for good wages :-)

Thank you! *blushes*
I don't think I would be allowed to sell things like that because of copyright, but if you ever want something special, I can make it for you, my friend!

I meant, in an ideal alternate universe, the BBC would hire you for their merchandise design department or whatever it's called :-)

Very cool. Hair can be a real pain to do so I don't blame you for not wanting to go there. I don't think the figure really needs it anyway

Thank you!
I bought two more cheap figures off ebay, and one of them is a bit scratched in the face and I need to repaint him anyway. I can try the hair there, then. If I am brave enough ;)
