Oh my, what a huge box! 64 rolls! I won't have to buy toilet paper anytime soon again. And there is a hamster on it, and a plush hamster on top! Too cute!

Because in Germany it is called "hamstern" when you hoard stuff in the pandemic - like toilet paper. This is a special edition and I had to get it just for the fun of it ;)

It is! I'm sure you understand I couldn't resist. A friend had posted about it on Twitter. Once I realized that the plush hamster is actually coming with it, there was no holding back. I just hadn't expected the box to be so huge ;)

And I definitely will keep one! In ten years time, we will laugh about all this. Hopefully.

I'm a hamster aficionado myself - in fact, my username is a riff on the name of my first hamster, Shiv, an albino Djungarian dwarf hamster. I haven't kept any in ages, mostly because I've grown too lazy to look after them well.
