It's National Bratwurst Day but the Bratwurst refuses to get eaten! It's an original Thuringian one, I bought it in Weimar. I knew a day would come where I could use it!
It's a keyring, I just removed it. I saw it in a museum's shop in Thuringia which is very famous for its best Bratwurst, and I could not resist buying this cute and funny thing. I love its grin!
Yes, I love them too! This weekend is the big annual Dresden city festival and there are stands with Bratwurst everywhere! And lots of other yummy food. And stages with music, and it's all free, no entry! I will be going later.
There is also an exhibition with steam engines, I believe in cooperation with some Czech company!
Oh, steam engines! I LOVE them! my granddad used to be an "ajzpoňák" - eisenbahn employee in České Velenice - Gmund. I inherited a passion for engines (Old planes, ships, machinery, bridges etc.) :-)

It's funny sometimes how a great reaction you can get out of these figures, even though the expression remains the same.
