More crafty things here

It was my grandmother's funeral today. While cleaning out her apartment, I found lots of things that I had made for her as a child. Some amazing things there. If you click the LJ cut then I'll give explanations for each item.

Thank you! I never knew anything else my entire life. Always plotting and planning! Did not always work out, but you certainly learn from your mistakes as well.

Also my Dad used to sit down with me and make crafty things together.

What a great dad. You must have some good memories of that.

Yes, he really is a great dad. He cooks, he bakes, he cleans the bathroom, he repairs the toys the children break and he also helped with school work. He taught me a lot.

I'm very sorry for your loss. It's lovely to see that she treasured all the things you made for her, though.

Thank you for the condolences!
Yeah, it's really nice to be reminded of times long ago through things. I had forgotten about so many.

Oh these are gorgeous. Your grandmother clearly treasured them. I love the gingerbread house especially.

Thank you! Yeah, the gingerbread house is definitely my favorite. I had seen it in the glass shelf when visiting her, but having it now in hand and looking at it from all sides I am all amazed about myself again ;)

It was really nice to see all the things again. I had known about some which were on display when I visited her, but had forgotten about others.

Thank you for the condolences!

Yeah, the gingerbread house is definitely my favorite. That looks as if it took quite some work! Which is why I only made that one.

The snails look so real! I remember looking up in a lexicon how they look like. My mother said "Ew" when she saw them ;)
