Customizing: 1:6 scale Jack Harkness

I've posted some bits of this before, but never the whole process from start to finish. Especially for bloodsong13t who asked. Here is how I created Jack Harkness from a Max Steel figure. Thanks to a friend who found him and said the face looks similar. For years I had searched for a figure. We now will also get an official Jack by Big Chief Studios (picture Read more... )

Too bad Ianto wasn't there to take care of Jack's braces.

I was sewing buttons onto this little guy's pants whily my own pants were lying without a button for weeks. Priorities!
Lol!

Amazing change, Jack looks perfect. The shirt is exactly the colour it should be.

Ten looks so weird in that coat, like he was trying to fit in and look innocent. I love the pose in his second photo, he looks like a scientist inspecting on an experiment ;)

Yeah, I always preferred the dark blue shirt, even though I have the feeling he wore the light blue one more often? I bought one of those as well, but it is a bit too baby blule and also has a tie. I gave it to Ianto then ;)

Yeah, I also think this one came out great! Maybe when he was disguising himself as a teacher!

I don't know, maybe he did. I like the blue one more, too :)

I'm still surprised he managed to spend the entire day teaching and no one was suspicious. Twelve couldn't spend ten minutes without looking alien and weird.

Aw thank you! This was a project done with a friend who found the figure in the first place and also sent me the tiny buttons and helped with much other knowledge of how to find the good clothes. It's actually really hard finding doll clothes that don't look cheap!
