For those not in the know, this weekend is the big 50th anniversary Star Trek convention in Las Vegas with pretty much everyone there.
I just want to share three really nice pictures.

Yes, I also loved those pictures so much, that's why I wanted to share them! Wonder if there will be more. I have one more but with a different theme so it deserves its own post.

Wish we all could be there, but aside from the expensive cost, it also was sold out months ago.

This is one convention I really wish I could have attended. :-)

Oh yeah! Too far away and probably out of my price range anyway (and tickets were sold out for months I hear) and then it's Creation, I've never been to a Creation con but back in Stargate days I only heard bad things about them. They really like to grab fan's money obviously.

But still, a once in a lifetime chance, with everyone being there. Then again, imagine all the things you are missing, as you can't be in many places at the same time! This is why I prefer smaller cons. I hate standing in line for one picture and miss someone else's stage panel.

I hear even Whoopi Goldberg is there, her first convention ever. They really got everyone that is still alive.

Can't wait for all the fans being back home and sharing pictures and stories. At least through the internet we still can take part somehow!

I also love the pictures with the "Star Trek Continues" people and the "real" Star Trek stars, showing that they are known and respected in the ST world.

I've been to some Creation Cons--they have their pros and cons (no pun intended!).

It just wasn't in the works this year. And as you say, the tickets were expensive and went fast!

I've been following updates and quotes on Twitter, which has been nice. :-)

Have you seen all episodes of "Star Trek Continues"? The latest one (number 6) came out in May and now I am desperatedly waiting for the next, which will premiere in September.
