I have one of those maple syrup bottles shaped like a maple leaf, too! Not sure how I got it though... Gift from someone years ago. I have this weird affection for Canada considering I've never been there, I think it mostly stemmed from my love of hockey growing up. *g* I have a Canada keychain on my keyring and in my dorm rooms/apartments before I had to move back home I used to hang a big Canadian flag!
I also had maple syrup made and shaped bonbons and lollipops but these have been eaten already ;)
Well, I hope one day you'll get to see it with your own eyes! Depending of what you want. I'm sure there is also great landscape but I am more of a city girl. But we drove around outside Vancouver a bit and visited a lot of shooting locations for Stargate and MacGyver. I keep seeing them now when watching other stuff that is filmed there. Vancouver itself is a nice size - not too big. I felt at home immediately.
It's been eight years, it may not exist anymore. Such things only are available for a short time and then get replaced with something new. I've tried to look online but to no avail. I found a Kirk one instead, I may get that for my next travel with my new occupation

Travelling, you're doing it wrong ;) At my first trip to London, I came home with a miniature red letter box, red phone box and Big Ben which even had a real clock inside. I love souvenir shops! Yes, most of it is kitsch, but sometimes you find real gems.
And with the Vancouver souvenirs I made sure to buy stuff that I actually use (the suitcase tag or the coasters) instead of things just standing around gathering dust.

It's a little after 10:30pm ish and crazy fireworks are going off right now - it's very loud lol!
Wish I knew someone who lived in Vancouver so I could ask them to get you a new suitcase tag with the skyline of Vancouver :(
