I'm very sorry Stacey, I mixed you up there with owensheart who does indeed live in London.
I guess I was a bit overexcited yesterday evening. Please forgive me? But John is doing a lot of US conventions recently all over the country, maybe you will be able to go to one as well someday.

Woot woot! Now you KNOW it will be a blast. He always brings the silly, and seems to bring it out in others as well. I will keep my fingers crossed that they select your play. What a dream come true that would be!

When is that due again, anyway? Do you still want me to look at it when the final version is ready? I don't have time for a full beta at this point but I'd be happy to do a quick read-through anytime.

I don't think I need a beta, my friend was very thorough (she grew up partly in the UK, so she knows her English even though she's German) but I happily send it to you for just happy reading! I am pretty proud of it, especially since I wrote it so quickly.

Thank you! Finally we can squee indeed. Yesterday it looked, even though it was confirmed at his own page, that John was the only one not knowing about it and he kept sending weird tweets ;) But now all seems to be sorted. Yay! Let the fun begin!

The hotel will not know what hit them. Last year was fun already without him, but he is indeed the icing on the cake.

I'm really glad for you! That was how I felt when John was announced for Gallifrey One. So unexpected and wonderful!

Yes, now we both have something to look forward to! I was just thinking that as well.

It was really totally unexpected, because John had said at the stage door in Glasgow, no European cons this year, and Sean had said back in December that while he was in talks with yet another guest (and everyone assumed John immediately of course) it was not a main cast and we should stay realistic please. I seriuosly thought John might be too expensive for him, especially since he already had all these other guests. Apparently he was trolling us ;)

So it really took a while for the information to sink in with me, and even though it was posted on his official page as well, John himself sent confusing tweets, apparently nobody had told him yet LOL But I guess it's all well now and we can squee indeed.

Yeah, I saw the MBE pictures back in October at the day they were done because guess what? It was my birthday! So I'll never forget the date - 14th of October.

I also made a post with all the pics and the video John posted when their car reached Buckingham Palace. He seemed a bit nervous. And Scott and his parents also looked really good and were all so proud!

No need to apologize! The reason why this is making the round on FB at the moment is that John asked his web-team to add the MBE behind his Twitter and Facebook name, so now there are a lot of people asking what this means. And so he posted some pictures himself.

Heh, you are right! I never noticed. Can you believe that this guy is 51? He always looks younger than John.

John and Scott are the most adorable couple in the world. There is still so much love, after 21 years. The way they look at each other.

You probably don't know this video - watch it. That was in Cardiff 2011, I was there. John brought Scott on stage, he had no idea. And then they sang a duet together. Notice how Scott always only looks at John? How they grab each other? I never squeed as loud before:
