John and Stark had been working hard lately, and now they had time off. So he made dinner for her, something simple as she was teaching him to cook. He also got her favorite flowers, and he set it out as a surprise as she put their son to bed.

She padded back downstairs to check on him and was surprised to see everything. "What?" she said. "John...you didn't have to do this."

"You do." She chuckled. "Thirteen years and counting."

"Best person to share my life with." He squeezed her hand lovingly.

"You're the biggest part of my life," she said. "Always have been."

She smiled. "Lucky assignment," she murmured. "We just found our way to each other."

"And I never wanted to lose you. I love you more than anything Stark, you and our son are my life now." He smiled.

"You are just amazing. I can never tell you that enough." He smiled.

"You are amazing all on your own." He smiled more.

She chuckled. "I try, don't always succeed but I try."

"All anyone can do sweetheart." He cuddled close to her.
