Elphaba Thropp was now a high school graduate. While the last events of the ceremony were... particular in the same way that many things that had happened to her over her time at Fandom High were particular, she wasn't going to let it dampen her spirits

In all the chaos from the graduation ceremony, Hanna didn't get the chance to congratulate her friend. Now that things were calm, she went to Elphaba's room, hoping to find her there.

She knocked on the door frame. "Hey. That was a crazy ceremony, huh?"

Understatement much?

"I think that's putting it lightly," Elphaba said, looking over from her desk. She had a wry smile on her face. "I could do without seeing another doll my entire life, I think."

"I hear that," Hanna agreed, shuddering at all those horrible dolls 'A' used to torment her and her friends...the ones from the ceremony did nothing to change her opinion of the creepy things.

"So," she said, wandering further into the room. "How does it feel to be a graduate?"

"I thought it would be a relief," Elphaba said. "And it is, in a way. But now there's this creeping feeling about all the things that are ahead of me, now."
