Hey all! It's been a long time since I posted anything...can I blame school again? Yeah, it's been a crazy semester, but I had the week off so I totally binged on Sims and finished up my house makeovers in Desiderata Valley. Belladonna Cove has been put on the back-burner for a while because it kept crashing on me, so I started up a new 'hood ( Read more... )

The premade houses in Desiderate Valley must be part of the worst ones EAxis ever created, but you made them look lovely! :)

I am in love with these makeovers! I love seeing what everyone does with these houses, since they're so in need of makeovers. These look great!

Thank you! I agree, it's really neat to see how different people makeover the same houses, and how different they can turn out. But pretty much anything is an improvement. ;)

I've never looked at the desiderata houses before. That one with the curved path and diagonal walls is quite nice and interesting actually. I especially love what you did with the last one <3

A lot of the premade houses actually have pretty cool ideas. It's just that most of them are poorly executed. Thanks, I think the last one is my favourite too. :)

Lovely makeovers! They're a huge step up from the originals. I'm not fond of Maxis building in general, but houses in Desiderata Valley might just be the worst of all hoods.
Cyd has a poster of himself in his bedroom? How classy. :p

Thank you! :) Yes, DV is proving to be quite the makeover challenge, but it's been fun too.

Heh heh, not only a poster of himself, but himself next to an attractive young female... :P

Great work on those houses!! They where quite a challenge for me as well :P

Love what you did with the Picasos house and, 290 Hobby Drive sure calls for a smaller lake, right?

So, now I'm curiose to see what you do with 244 Hillside Pass Road inside..I don't think it is a haunted house and, I can see the "old" Godies living in there :P

Thank you! :) I think that lake is supposed to like a river running through the lot, which is a neat idea, except that it just ends. It would be cool if there was water around it in 'hood view, but sadly not.

Ha ha, there's nothing in the Hillside Road house, it's completely empty. I say I wanted to keep it cheap (walls are expensive!) but mostly I was lazy. :P
