Terrence still was a bit nervous about taking DeAnna out, even if it was just for coffee. He hadn't really dated since his transformation since he figured that if he was so often greeted with distrust, there really was no way a relationship could really work out

DeAnna sighed tossing the 'Guns & Ammo' magazine down on the couch beside her. She sat with her legs curled up under her, bored, and wished that she had something better to occupy her time with at the moment. She was trying, unsuccessfully, to relax, the coffee table before her cluttered with a couple of books, a course binder and the remains of an assignment she had temporarily hit the wall on.

Her brain hurt, she was tense and- what the fuck was that annoying sound? Oh yeah, her cell phone. DeAnna dug it out from between the couch cushions and not recognizing the caller's number she answered anyway.

"DeAnna Kosik, who's calling please?"

Terrence timidly answered, "Uh, hi, DeAnna. It's Terrence Allenby. How...are you?"

Terrance = Holly; oh yes, the cute man she had met the other day. DeAnna smiled the gesture reaching her voice. He was nice, funny and her sister had a crush on him that lasted for miles, but that wasn't going to deter DeAnna from flushing the situation out for herself nor from reaching her own conclusions. Terrance was right up her alley and he had followed up as promised. Keeping promises was the first box DeAnna checked off before learning to trust someone.

"Terrance, I'm good. A little wired tonight and extremely bored. I have a feeling though you can save the rest of the evening. And since this can't be anything less than a social call, the night is looking up."

"Me? Save the rest of the evening?" Terrence asked, sheepishly. "Well...I-I'll try." He thought for a moment for something else to suggest. Taking note that DeAnna mentioned she was wired, Terrence thought to ask if going out for coffee was still all right. "Well, if you're wired," he began. "Is coffee still a good idea? Or did you maybe wanna...just go for drinks instead?"
