I somehow really love this sentence "In no time at all, Shingo’s filled both plates, and it may as well be strings of gold with the way the afternoon light that filters in through the window above the sink hits it perfectly..."
Smappy New Year! =D

Firstly, really because the gif is STARING AT ME AS I TYPE THIS - THAT GIF IS RIDICULOUSLY CUTEEEEEE.
And yay! THANK YOU DARLING :D Satasma fic :D I've missed them and this was awesomeeeeee. <3 It wasn't quite what I was expecting - It's better! :D I did kinda expect fluff, because that's what Shingo/Nakai is to me, but hey, I liked it that it was a surprise :D And generally, I loved it cause Nakai's the one who's falling apart and Shingo's telling him its okay. Role reversals FTW.
Nakai doesn’t know when a late night get together that involved a surprising amount of beer (he still swears to half the cans in the trash but Shingo knows better) turned into Shingo sleeping on his couch and ended up with them sharing his bed Friday night.
This kinda fic never fails to amused me and make me happy - people moving into other people's without saying anything. <3 And Shingo's really just the kind to assume and not say anything :P
“Okay, seriously, we are not having fish again,” Shingo’s rummaging in the fridge when he says this- ( ... )

Nakai stuffs his hands under his chest, “Don’t grow up so fast, okay? My heart races when you do.”
He hides his face in the pillow after he says it.
TEEHEEHEE. Aw c'mon Nakai. He's a big, grown man. HUGE. Go attack him. GO! Beyond that, I really love the ending. It's just so... quiet and well, there's no actual actual resolution but something's changed and that's just lovely in itself. I like it that Shingo holds Nakai and tells him it's okay, but he's scared himself. And I like it that Nakai lets Shingo comfort him. <3 ( ... )

YOU MADE ME ALL INCOHERENT WITH HAPPINESS WITH THAT. There wasn't nearly as much dialogue as I was hopin' there'd be in this, so any dialogue I did manage, I was pretty iffy about. Yeeeeeess. Their dynamic!! Some of it actually came through? Wtf. I didn't think that would happen! PSHAW, don't apologize, missy.
I like to believe Nakai does a lot of things for Shingo. 8D
AAAAAWWWWWW. You planted Nakai tackling huge ol' Shingo images in my head and I really like it. No, srsly, I am going to write completely indulgent Nakai/Shingo just so Shingo can continue to make fun of Nakai's inability to cook and Nakai can retort with snarky things and somewhere in between, Nakai's wrapping his petite little frame around Shingo's giant bod' because ohgod they're so cute ( ... )

CAN I JUST SAY, BUH-LAIN-EE, THAT I LOVE THIS? I REALLY REALLY LOVE THIS.
You say this fic could be better, and maybe it could, but I really love the way you evoke atmosphere and nuances through your writing. Actually, if I have to say it, it doesn't read like a normal fanfic (especially in the Johnny's fandom, lol) ...it reads more like a novel. I love it. I love the way you write Nakai and Shingo's dynamics!
PS: Yes, I'm keeping it up with the Buh-lain-ee. HAHA
Happy new year, while I'm at it! :DDD

It’s Sunday and Nakai’s been up for nearly an hour and he knows he should stop being surprised by how wide Shingo’s shoulders are and how they block out the whole fridge, but he’s not.
first of all, I have a thing for this random way of putting unconnected facts into one sentence, but most of all it's the wide shoulders things and how Nakai is surprised every time.
he slips into the kitchen and grabs an orange and is watching the back of Shingo’s shirt bunch every time he stirs before he even realizes that all that’s left of the orange is the peel.
the orange is a very nice prop.
Things don’t always go as planned; Nakai knows that, he’s looking at it in his kitchen right now; lumbering with a grace that shouldn’t be there.
I really don't know what to comment on, other than that I'm loving this sentence.
But no one gets so close to grazing the ( ... )
