Well with both parts of chapter 14 now posted, I thought I'd share some thoughts on it and quite a few pictures that didn't make it.
First of all, I found chapter 14 very difficult to write, especially the first part, mainly because it was game-play based rather than plot based. I find having a plot for a chapter makes things so much more fluid to

That is kind of a funny mesh issue on Hottie Theo's clothes. The clipping I can understand, what with all the big gowns and bonnets and things, but how do you eff up a suit mesh?
Heh. I tend to do all my birthdays in kitchens or the front hall precisely because they're BIG and everyone who wants to gawk can fit in very easily.

I'm surprised Henry didn't pick a fight too. Maybe he and SJ have had positive interactions on other lots before, so their relationship wasn't 0/0? Because I've also seen the one-nice-pointers throw down over a single double-minus. And also Gilbert that one time.
I'll have to see if I get any SimSelf/Vetinari fun when I play the businesses again. Aside from my SimSelf, who of course can always be counted on for random inappropriate heart-farts. Now that SJ's not at college anymore, he can actually show up to the community lots, and frequently does since he's so outgoing.

I love seeing how everyone behaves at businesses as well, because you pretty much do get the entire neighbourhood through eventually, which throws odd combinations.
That picture of Rosemarie is really, really pretty. There's just so many gorgeous Victorians!
All these pictures are awesome Di, I kept bursting out in giggles :)

This generation is the best looking so far I think. They all seem to have inhetited the best features from their parents.
Glad you liked them. I was laughing as I was coming up with the captions. :)
