Aw, that's sweet! It's nice when family members can bond over shared activities and such.

:D Thanks! I agree it is, and I was inspired by Pen and the samplers I saw at the Castle Museum in York, which were obviously completed over years, but all linked back to the needleworker's family in some way.

:D :D :D Yay crazy quilt! I love the little touch about her not ever seeming to be near to finishing it since so many of them were left unfinished.

It's nice to see Rosie again. I feel like it has been a bit since she appeared in the story.

:D :D I remembered you saying about how few were actually finished, and I liked it. Cecilia's quilt became more something she did than an item she was making.

It has been far too long since I've written her into the story, but there has been no cause for her to appear sadly. :(

While I'm uncertain which characters these are (having trouble placing faces with names) I love this intimate moment between mother and daughter. It's simple and honest :)

Rosie and Cecila haven't appeared for a while, mores the pity, but I have posted picspam from them recently (check the picspam: wrenworth tag) if you wanted to refresh your memory.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. They don't get to spend much time just the two of them, so I'm glad I got across what I was going for.
