To be honest, the intrusion of this one Namizake Minato into his brother's life was something that was out of his calculation altogether. Though so, through observation of the various online activities of this said Minato, Itachi thought that maybe this Minato might be something good for his little brother. Despite the hilarity of the whole stiuation, he thought that maybe Minato could give his brother something that he himself was unable to. Maybe, just maybe, Minato would make a brother/father than himself.

That was probably why he found himself, after dealing with some family business, in front of Minato's house. His prided vechicle was parked next to Sasuke's in the parking lot.

He rang the doorbell.

"I found it in the mailbox,"

This time it was Itachi with the nonchalant voice.

"In the mailbox," he carefully parroted.

He fanned out the letter in his hand to read it immediately, notably drenched with her familiar favourite: Royal Apothic by anthropologie.

Deep-hazel eyes danced side to side reading the letters contents. Then within the middle, Sasuke tried to fight a small flush.

She got something pierced lately. Something Sasuke heard about, but... never imagined it to be possible.

"... Huh."

"What's with that flush on your face?"

Itachi had to fight the urge to snatch that letter away from Sasuke.

"Oh, nothing. Nothing, really." He instinctively folded the letter three more times in his hand.

The nile wasn't just a river in Egypt.

You didn't need to be Sasuke's older brother to know that something was wrong. That look was too unmistakable.

"Do I have to take that letter from you directly, little brother?"

He reached for the letter in Sasuke's hand.

"What could this be, Ducky?" Minato reached over Sasuke's shoulder, grabbed the letter, and went a safe distance behind the sofa to start reading the contents of the letter. The same letter that bothered his pride and joy! If anyone so much as threatened Sasuke, they will--

"-- Sasuke, I don't think this is appropriate for you to read."

Itachi almost laughed.

Almost though.

But he let a smile creep out as he threw a glance at Sasuke.

"Wait-- did you bring this trash for him to read?!"

"It's from his ex-girlfriend and addressed to him," he replied matter of factly, "So I am just passing what is his,"

"I do not want him reading this no matter who it is from! You're as much in fault here as he is!"

"I don't screen letters," he replied, "It's an invasion of privacy,"

"And listen to me good, Itachi. Sasuke doesn't need to read things like this. Understand me?" Minato crumpled the letter harder into his hand in emphasis.

"It's not up to you to decide what he deserves to read or not," His voice went deeper.

He paused for a moment before going, "Give him that letter back,"

"No? Because I said so and I decide what is best for him. Don't bring him such trash ever again."
