today Irina, Lev and I were eating Mexican food at la Lupe on 8th street. the waitress didn't understand my Spanish, which happens fairly often. I'm convinced this isn't cause my accent sucks real bad (o god listen to my EGO grow), but more because it's a weird situation for the person to be conversing with a NNS. which is okay w me ( Read more... )

whoa! i gotta hear that.

some gorgeous dude came into the store where i work speaking some crazy language. i had to ask him it sounded so cool. turned out it was greek... don't think i've ever heard greek before.

speaking of greek, fage is fucking awesome.

i think geno's problem demonstrates in the fact that he traded his cadillac convertible for a hummer. irritation with non-english speakers can be understood.
