Do you know where a person can sell used books? I have a box of almost 50 that I want to get rid of and was hoping I could sell them. Also, know anyone who wants a basic armoire for 15.00? There are things I want to get off to good homes before we move, because we are trying to not move with as much junk this time.

For the books, there are a couple of bookstores on 2nd, downtown, across from La Baron's Cafe. (One is called Twice Told Tales, I don't remember the other, but they're right next to each other.) I think they'll buy old books. I'm not sure about the armoir, though. If nothing else, you could call up some of the churches; they might know of someone who could use it.

unfortunately most of the places that I know of that buy used books do it for store credit, which is great for me, but not great for what you are trying to do. But I have not tried the Twice Told Tales or the the one right next to it. (seriously, these two are like, right next door to each other) And really, I can't remember what the second one is called, and it is driving me insane. It is better than Twice Told Tales, at least in my opinion, but yeah...*sighs*

And I'm kinda at a loss on the armoire as well...

I would also be interested in the books. How much are you thinking you would want for them if you can't sell them somewhere else? I would look through them and buy some I found interesting.

If you and Rob want to see which ones you want, that works. They are not very interesting books though (which is why we are getting rid of them) so don't get your hopes up too high. Then again, maybe you will think the books I think aren't that great rock your socks.

I am going to call Twice Told Tales. I have them posted on craigslist and said in the post that we kept the box of books in the car to exchange for credit at bookstores and people could do the same. It's not bad because most places give you half the book's original value, which is more than what we were selling them for. We were listing the entire lot for 40.00 OBO but if you guys want to take them and we can't sell them to a store, we can give them to you for free.

We get the moving truck tomorrow but aren't going to finish packing everything up until Friday if you guys want to come over and check them out let me know.
