Excluding the top I would say this is all wrong, but whatever, I'm in no mood to argue with the idiot who came up with the questions. Also, when I am sad I tend to comment a lot on my safety blanket communities and post stupid crap here. *shrugs*

I think my tastes are a bit too eclectic for whomever made that quiz. You must know and like the punk bands he put on there. There were no questions about the dead kennedys or the pistols or the ramones.

Ska is an offshoot of Reggae that often features a faster beat and usually has a horn section. Famous ska bands include Madness ("our house"), No Doubt, Fishbone, Smashmouth ( "Walkin' on the Sun"), NoFX, & The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. You must have answered yes to the you like your music with a brass section.

I really thought the questions in that quiz were immature, and meant for people with limited exposure to music. Most of what I listen to wasn't even covered and they boiled genres down to one or two artists: i.e. - grunge is Nirvana, pop is Britney Spears, classic rock is Led Zeppelin, etc, etc. Not one band that I actually listen to on any sort of even moderate basis was mentioned.

Aha, thank you for the crash course in ska! I know Smash Mouth and rather enjoy their sound, I've heard of NoFX and No Doubt. When I answered yes to the brass section I was thinking of Chicago ("25 or 6 to 4") and the Grass Roots ("Midnight Confessions") and maybe Glen Miller and big band swing.

You did warn that it was a stupid quiz. It's not your fault that I went and did it anyway!
