I like the pictures, and usually there are cloth diapers in them too.
There have been a whole lot of them lately, though. I'd like to see a once a week "show off your baby in fluff" (including babylegs) post like the ISO of post, to contain it a little.
I'm tired of looking at them too. I love them on my own kids but don't need to see everyone elses :p And no red marks here, we got in on the batch that had the smaller elastic (without the BL embroidery)at the top and they work great. They work REALLY well for those of us who live in colder climates.
Put pants on your kids for Christ's sake if you don't want their legs getting cold. I've thought they *might* be cute for going under little girl's dresses, but then saw the red marks on my friend's lil baby and said "ah...not so cute."
We buy lined jeans for cold weather...yay LL BEAN! But then, I have two boys and no girls so if I ever have a little girl, I won't know how to dress her. She'll end up wearing all her brother's handmedown jeans. But at least her legs will stay warm....
I put pants on my baby, but when I carry or wear her, her pants hike up and her little bare legs get exposed to the elements. Different strokes for different folks though, right?
If you had a girl you could put her in jeans no problem. When I was expecting my first girl I was totally freaked out at the whole "doing hair" thing but it's not a big deal. You let your kid's hair guide you, kwim? Is it in her face? Clip it back! Problem solved. Hehehehe
Incidentally, I love LLBean and Lands End for kids clothes too. Yay for durability!
see, my kids are very short, so I almost always have to roll their pants up. Then when I'm carrying them, if their pants hike up, I just roll them down. That and my boy's socks go damn near up to their knees. haha.
The great thing about LL Bean is they guarantee their clothes. So even if your child is hard on them, if anything happens they will replace the garment no questions asked!! Their customer services is fabulous. I don't mind paying the money for the clothes when I know they will last through 3 kids.
I think jeans are darling on little girls...with a little girlie t-shirt? So cute!! If I have a girl I will just buy her shirts and let her wear all her brother's jeans.
Ah, that's true. I'm tall and I have tall kids, so yeah, their pants aren't usually too long. Though now my baby wears longies 99% of the time so it's not as bad, but it's super cold here, so I loves me some babylegs.
I didn't realize LLBean guaranteed their clothes in that way. I am totally pissed off that I have had to replace every single pair of jeans I bought my daughter for school. I was a cheapskate and bought them at Target and Walmart. I bought the cute decorative jeans and they are crap. D'oh!
I love dressing my daughter in my son's hand-me-downs. I swear it makes her look even more girly, probably because you get desensitized to all the girl clothes, so putting her in a plain navy blue hoodie just looks SO CUTE. It highlights her instead of the girly clothes, kwim? (see icon)
You know...I used to feel the same way. I did not like baby legs but after struggling with my squirmer the other night - I actually thought about buying some to make diaper changes go smoother. I still don't know though. They have cute designs but I don't really like the way they look - if that makes sense.

I never ever open a cut that says babylegs!
