I'm over at SAM's place tonight, and about twenty minutes ago I was sitting on his couch browsing the net when I heard someone quietly turning the doorknob trying to open the door to his apartment. At 2:00 fucking AM! Thankfully the lock was turned. SAM is sometimes lax about locking the door with the deadbolt and I'm always nagging him about it.

The same thing happened to me once, except we *hadn't* locked our door. I usually locked the doors before I went to bed, and this night I was up until about two-thirty or so. I heard the kitchen door open and ran to the bedroom where my husband at the time was sleeping. We ventured back out and heard the kitchen door closing again, so we went in there. I grabbed the large knife we'd used to cut pizza with earlier in the night and we opened up the kitchen door
