Oh gosh, I miss San Francisco so much! I lived in the Bay Area for a little over a year and just moved back to the Midwest in November. I love it there. I'm sure I'd love NYC too, if given the opportunity to live there, but SF is just so pretty.

I was wondering how the emotional adjustment is going for you. I know how much you love NYC, and it must be hard to move so far away from your family, friends, and support structure. And of course, being three hours behind the rest of the internets while new TV is on. But it's great that you were brave enough to take this job and sign on for the adventure.

I saw the preview for "Awake" (and also that movie he did with the Taylor Lautner) and at least Isaacs' American accent is pretty good. Unlike Ben Kingsley's in MAURICE.

I really liked Awake. I'm not sure how long they can go without it starting to get ridiculous, but I'm going to stick around to find out.

I was intrigued by the first episode of Awake and plan to keep watching. Interestingly, I don't want to know "what's going on" or "what's the secret." For me, the story is about how Britten deals with living his two separate lives. How he came to be living in two parallel worlds is, for me, irrelevant. And I don't usually feel that way about this sort of story.

I felt the same way, but that IS how I usually feel. ;) But yeah, what is going on isn't as important as how he manages to deal with it.
