Nice fic! Lovely words! I loved the following lines:

I see that you still giving characters a significant whomping (complete with broken ribs) and then putting them in a hospital and injecting lots of medical terminology! :D I daresay you have a hurt!Sam kink (which is a good thing, at least from my perspective, as I have a soft spot of hurt!Sam, too!) ;)

Dean stepped up beside him, his Colt Patterson raised and at the ready.

FYI in case you're going to write more about Dean's gun in the future, Dean's gun is a Colt 1911. The Colt Patterson is the gun fashioned by Samuel Colt and has been MIA since Bela ran off with it late in S3 (psst, I think it's likely Lilith has it as a result of her deal with Bela). :)

Hi, yeah, the Colt part wasn't mine, that was a part of the scene I was given, right from around there right to where Sam is against the tree ... and we're not allowed to change the scenes so I had to leave it. Of course, I wouldn't have known what gun he had, I always just say 'gun' heee! It covers everything that goes bang in the night. Well ... ooops! heee!
Thanks so much for reading this! And for the gun information. The theme this month was Sam being pummeled ... and a couple other things but Sam had to be hurt in this batch. I'm having fun with it, and ribs seem sort of logical because they heal and we all want that. Hee! I wonder what next month's theme will be. I can't wait. I'm off now to change Sam's height in the other one, so thanks so much for that reminder, I really appreciate that. I think sometimes my fingers fly and my brain stays on the ground.
