Sept. 22nd- where has the time gone?

I've been writing every night. But that writing is working on lesson plans and sub plans, curriculum night and assessment rubrics. NOT the writing I need to do on my own manuscripts ( Read more... )

Diane, you are full of so many beautiful words and stories. I do hope you find the time. Even if it's just 15 minutes a day. Those words at up. :-)

Thanks Jo. Maybe going back to 15 minutes a day will work. I'm going to give that a try. So much easier to mentally prepare for that, than sitting down to write....

What a great idea to designate time that can't be used for anything but your own writing. Your work is wonderful, and I hope you can keep at least a little corner of your life free for it. (Though I can certainly relate to being too tired sometimes to try!)

I guess if there's one thing I've learned, it's that you've got to keep starting over again....chiseling out time and energy when you've been taken over by life and time has flown by. I've missed so many of my personal deadlines and goals and have been discouraged by that. But I've learned that my choices are to give up, or to start over again. It's that time again.
